Education is the cornerstone of our society. It opens many doors for students. Without it, it is almost impossible to do anything. Unfortunately, not every kid has proper access to this necessity. About 15 million children do not have enough money to buy school supplies, which negatively impacts their ability to learn and grow. In 2018, nearly 17 million children lived in homes without high-speed internet and more than 7 million did not have computers at home. This year, COVID-19 has widened the education gap for children trying to learn, since many kids do not have access to online learning tools at home. With your help, we want to make sure that students have the proper learning tools at home to ensure they get the education they deserve and need. You can support this effort in many ways: you can be a volunteer, donor, partner, or sponsor.

Please see the attached flyer for more information on what and how to donate.

This year’s school supplies drive is led by our youth volunteers Anirudh Ganesan, Abhinav Ganesan, Sai Suram, and Tarika Selvaraj. Please encourage these youth volunteers’ hard work by supporting this initiative.
